Expressions

Rylan is really becoming expressive in his face, hands, and learning he has a voice. He does not cry a lot but he makes all kinds of noises, of course I can never get them recorded. He likes to sit up or be flat on the floor so he can move around. Rylan is getting good at holding his head up and moving it around as you can see in one of these videos.

 This is one of my favorite pictures because he looks so mischievous.

I won't mention what he was doing during this next series of pictures but you can probably guess. It was hilarious to watch his face! I know that is mean and he will probably be embarrassed by these some day but that is what moms do, right?

 

  

 Rylan has so much hair and it is getting long. I love to play with it after his bath.

 I woke up the other day and this is how Rylan was sleeping. He wiggles so much when he is sleeping and likes his head titled back.

We spend alot of time lately playing on the floor. It is amazing and makes me a little sad how much he is moving around.

 No matter how we swaddle or lay him in his bed, this is how Rylan prefers to sleep. He also puts his head this way in the nap nanny and mama roo swing.

2 Months Old

Rylan is 2 months old now! We had our 2 month check up and got some shots during that visit. Rylan did great. We tried to get a family pic before heading to the doctor's office. He is 6lbs 13.5oz and 19.2 inches long.

 This is how Rylan prefers to watch TV. If we don't face him toward the TV, he will turn his head so he can see it. Rylan and Jordon have watched the Rangers alot this past week.  



Easter Weekend part 2

We had a bath Sunday morning. Here are my two grumpies and their fluffy hair.

 We finally got all the decorations hung in Rylan's room.

Rylan was awake and very active Monday afternoon. I got tickled at him so I took several pictures of him moving around. Rylan loves to sit up in his nap nanny so he can look around. He does not like to lay flat in his cradle during the day.

Once he is done moving around, he goes back to watching TV. If we don't face him toward the TV he will turn his head to watch it.

We put Rylan in the moby wrap Monday afternoon and went outside for a while. He really liked it! I used a moby wrap in NICU to hold him skin to skin. I look forward to using it more especially once we get off the monitor. 

Easter Weekend part 1

 Happy Easter! Can't wait until we can join in on all the fun next year.

Papa and Grammy were here to visit on Saturday. They went to Holly's for Easter Sunday to see Jacob and Caleb. Next year Rylan will be able to join in on all the fun.

Aunt Holly came by Saturday night to see Rylan since we were not going anywhere for Easter.

Handyman for Hire

Jordon has taken on several of my project ideas. He took this hutch and made it into our new entertainment center.

 The color is so much better in person. I love it!

We are going to put a shelf above the TV and of course I will put picture frames and stuff all over it to drive Jordon crazy :)

Meemaw and Pops Came to Visit

 Rylan had on his cute baseball onesie on Saturday; ready for the first Rangers game this week!
