Update on Us! 30 Weeks

Monday was a regular visit for a sonogram. The week before at my OB my blood pressure was elevated but Monday it was off the charts. So my doctors sent me to the hospital for observation. We hoped it would be for just 24 hours but today they decided to keep me for a couple more days (keep your fingers crossed). My blood pressure has gone down but is still slightly elevated today. Everything else looks good and baby Dudley (yes he is still nameless) is doing great. He is active, heart rate and development are good. I hope the blood pressure will continue to improve so that I can be on bed rest at home. Either way we will probably meet baby before April!

We took Abby to the park on Saturday so I decided to practice with my new camera. I am still learning how to use all the options. Here are some action shots of Abby chasing her ball.

Peanut has a bed!

The crib finally came in on Friday. Jordon put his handyman skills to work and got it put together. I was not much help! Now we have the bed the room is starting to really come together. We just need to decide on how to arrange the room and I need to work on some of the wall decorations. And as you can tell from the pictures, Peanut has accumulated alot of clothing and stuff that needs to be put away.

Short Update

Grammy was here over last weekend. We spent two days running all over town registering for baby stuff. I was exhausted! I was glad to have Monday off to recover.

I think we got everything picked out. We even found the crib. Unfortunately and despite what the sign said, we were not able to take the bed home right away. Look for pictures in 7-10 days. Thank Babies R Us! Peanut's room is put back together but does not really look any different yet. Once we get the crib and bedding in there it will really come together.

Jordon finally found a rocking chair that he likes. Now we just need to get it recovered. He has also started working on the hutch to TV stand conversion. Pictures to come when you can see some progress...
