When I need a good laugh during the day, I just look at http://reasonsmysoniscrying.tumblr.com/. It cracks me up and I really cannot explain it. Maybe because I can relate!

Easter Weekend

It took me a while to get time to sit down and get all the pictures off the camera. We spent Easter in Comanche. Rylan got to go check cows with Pops and of course wanted to drive.

Rylan did not get into the egg hunt yet but he did enjoy watching his cousins.

 The hunt was one. Reid had to closely inspect all of his eggs and only wanted blue or spider man eggs.

We attempted a group picture but as expected not everyone would look at the same time. Rhett already knows how to annoy his older cousins. He was swiping their eggs from their baskets during the picture; Reid and Ella were not happy with him. 

 

 Pops fixed up a train for all the kiddos. It was pretty creative and hilarious.

 Rylan made the pink car look cool. This is what happens when you are the youngest, you get stuck with whatever car no one else wants. He did enjoy hanging his arm out.

 

After the egg hunt and lunch we all relaxed on the back porch. Everyone had a turn in the swing.

Rhett had enough action for one day.

No holiday is complete without a game of football. Jordon tried to teach Reid a touchdown dance.

Picture Sneak Peak

We had to cancel Rylan's pictures because we were in the hospital and luckly we were able to get another date with the photographer. It was a little chilly on Sunday so we hurried. Rylan was not really into it too much. She gave us a sneak peak with a few pictures and in a couple of weeks we will have all of them. These turned out great!! I hope they were not the only good ones.

It is great to have Rylan back to feeling normal. He has all of his energy back and is eating like a horse. I think he has hit a growth spurt the last couple of days.

New Countertops

Here are the pictures of the new counter tops. They are awesome! As you can tell the back splash is not done yet because we have not had time to work on it. It should not take long to do. I feel like I have a whole new kitchen!

 

Rylan

Our last post was birthday party #1, well we never got to the next party because Rylan got RSV. He was supposed to go to his one-year well check on February 14 but we went in earlier that week because he had cough but the doctor did not think it was anything. A couple days later on Valentine's Day we went back because he was still not better and got to take an ambulance from the doctor's office to the hospital because his oxygen level was so low. For there it is a blur over the next two weeks. It was pure HELL and there is not other way to put it. I do not wish RSV on anyone. Grammy was here to help us. She and I both ended up getting sick too. Jordon had to spend a few nights at the hospital with just him and Rylan.

We are so glad to be out of the hospital and home. Rylan is getting back to normal and his sweet personality is coming back. It was awful the way he would look at us and not smile or laugh at all in the hospital. For future reference, we will not be doing any type of remodeling or see anyone in all future Februarys.

One bright note is we did the counter tops installed and they look great! However because of the hospital stay Jordon has not had time to work on the back splash. The installation was happening on February 14 while we were at the doctor so Jordon had to wait until they were done to meet us at the hospital. I will try to put up some pictures of the counter tops soon.

We have pictures from the hospital but they make me cry every time I look at them so no pictures for this post.
