Horse Show, Birthday Party = Busy Weekend

It was another busy weekend, just like the past two, which is why I have not had time to blog in a while. Last week was a busy week at work too; it was Ag Awareness week so we had things going on all the time. Friday was Arbor Day. Grammy and Caleb came to campus to plant flowers with my student organization. He had a lot of fun! Saturday, Nikki and Aaron were showing their horses in Lubbock, so we went to watch them at the Equestrian Center. Saturday night, we went to Abernathy to celebrate Caleb and Matt's birthdays. Caleb wanted a pizza party so that is what we had! Rylan had a blast playing outside with the big boys. Sunday, Jacob was baptized; he is growing up so fast!!

Rylan really wanted to ride Caleb's scooter. He thinks he is a big as the other boys.

Rylan would take off down the drive way as fast as his little legs would go.

Jacob was trying to help wrangle Rylan on the drive way.

Easter Weekend

It took me a while to get time to sit down and get all the pictures off the camera. We spent Easter in Comanche. Rylan got to go check cows with Pops and of course wanted to drive.

Rylan did not get into the egg hunt yet but he did enjoy watching his cousins.

 The hunt was one. Reid had to closely inspect all of his eggs and only wanted blue or spider man eggs.

We attempted a group picture but as expected not everyone would look at the same time. Rhett already knows how to annoy his older cousins. He was swiping their eggs from their baskets during the picture; Reid and Ella were not happy with him. 

 

 Pops fixed up a train for all the kiddos. It was pretty creative and hilarious.

 Rylan made the pink car look cool. This is what happens when you are the youngest, you get stuck with whatever car no one else wants. He did enjoy hanging his arm out.

 

After the egg hunt and lunch we all relaxed on the back porch. Everyone had a turn in the swing.

Rhett had enough action for one day.

No holiday is complete without a game of football. Jordon tried to teach Reid a touchdown dance.

Picture Sneak Peak

We had to cancel Rylan's pictures because we were in the hospital and luckly we were able to get another date with the photographer. It was a little chilly on Sunday so we hurried. Rylan was not really into it too much. She gave us a sneak peak with a few pictures and in a couple of weeks we will have all of them. These turned out great!! I hope they were not the only good ones.

It is great to have Rylan back to feeling normal. He has all of his energy back and is eating like a horse. I think he has hit a growth spurt the last couple of days.
