Viva Las Vegas!!

Last week we went to Las Vegas for a few days with Grammy and Papa. It was also Uncle Dennis' 60th birthday so we had a great steak dinner at Binion's. The group was Dennis and Brenda, Tera and Justin, Nathan and Charity, Charity's sister Destiny, Grammy and Papa and us.

Rylan had his first plane ride and did great. He slept almost the entire time both flights. He went to sleep as soon as we taxied onto the runway. I don't think he ever knew we were off the ground.

I did not want to take my good camera so these are all from our phones. I was over preparing for Rylan and had no room to pack my camera.

ready to take off

Rylan loved the desk in our hotel room. He played there so much! I think he would have been happy there all day.

Grammy and I did a lot of walking during the day to shop and take Rylan to some of the kid friendly, fun places. We took him to the Coca-Cola store (3 floors of everything Coke imaginable!) and the M&Ms store (4 floors of everything M&M!).

Rylan flirted his way into a free Coke Icee from the girl behind the counter. I see trouble in our future!! He enjoyed every drop of it while entertaining people who were coming up the escalator.

Look at that sweet face!

We got to meet the Coca-Cola polar bear.
The M&M store was next so we got him full of caffeine then headed over to get some sugar in his system. As we rode the escalator to the second floor (where they have the entire wall of M&Ms) he says " Oh Wow!".

He was having a fit to eat the M&Ms before I could get through the checkout line.

Over the next two days, Grammy and I hit all the Cowboy Christmas shopping centers in three different locations.

Grammy tested out one of the adult ride-on ponies!

Papa talking to the Las Vegas cops
Ok I have to explain this one. There is a show about Las Vegas cops and the jail. It is pretty funny to watch. Papa loves it. So he saw these guys and went up to ask them about the show. They talked to him for a couple of minutes and told him where some of the cops on the show would be the next day. Unfortunately they were not filming right now. Jordon saw some of the cops from the show in one of the casinos arresting a guy one night too.

on the bus to downtown
Aunt Brenda reserved a bus to take us downtown for Uncle Dennis' birthday dinner at Binions. It was a surprise for him. It was a great dinner. Rylan enjoyed it too; though I don't think they get many toddlers in there. After dinner we walked around downtown for a bit; it is a little rough there after dark. Rylan crashed on us so we headed back to the hotel.

Thanks to Brenda we have these pictures. I did not take many that night and we left the next morning. It was a fun trip!

We went to Comanche before Thanksgiving so Jordon could go hunting. You will notice no pictures of a deer :) but plenty of our cute little boy! He loves to see the bulls.

We spent Thanksgiving in McLean. Rylan some how convinced Caleb to push him around in the little truck. They had so much fun! Again no pictures of a deer!

Halloween and TTU Football

We went to Abernathy and did Trunk or Treat with Jacob and Caleb last week. It was fun! Rylan was amazed that people were giving him candy. He really got into it after a few minutes. Grammy was staying with us so Rylan and Caleb pulled her around collecting candy.

He was a minion from Despicable Me. It was an easy homemade costume and it turned out pretty darn cute!

Saturday was the TTU vs OSU game. Holly, Matt and Jacob came to the game. It was not a good game but we had fun anyways. Rylan and I actually stayed for the whole game.

Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch

Grammy took us to the pumpkins patch and we had a blast. Rylan's favorite part was the wagon and when a train went by. I of course took the opportunity to get some cute pictures.

He waved the entire time the train passed.

And the best picture of all........
