Pre-K Christmas Program

Sidney Pre-K thru 5th grade put on a Christmas program before they got our for the break. It was really cute, especially the Pre-K class of course! They sang two songs which we had practiced over and over at home and at school.

Santa made a visit at the end! Of course I was that mom and put both of my kids up there. Hey I don't get many opportunities to take pics of them like this :)

This was the second time they had seen Santa this year but Haydon is still not too sure about him.

The next day we went to the Comanche square and took pictures with all the Christmas decorations. Comanche has a really great group that decorates the square. It is so pretty at night with the lights and music.

What a Busy Week

This week has been so busy! We are finally seeing finishing touches happen at our new house but that comes with lots of errands for me. I have lost count of how many times I have been to Home Depot; sometimes multiple times in the same day. It is close now so we should be moving soon. 

We had story time on Wednesday, soccer practices, meet the teacher on Thursday for pre-k and a soccer game on Saturday morning. 

I decided it was time for Haydon to get a real haircut this week too. He did really good. He sat there like a big boy and did not cry. I did not either. He looks so much older with his hair cut. Now to get ready for his first birthday party.

Crafty project for the week: covering Rylan's nap mat for pre-k. I am not done yet, still need to add the blanket. 

Found his desk! He was really excited and did not react at all like we thought he would which is good, he is taking it well. Now to see how Monday goes...

Rylan and Jackson found the toys and went right to work. 

Then they hit the playground. 

We got some dinner after meet the teacher. Rylan had to have some ice cream.

Kitchen - all we are missing is the backsplash and appliances go in soon. I love my sink and the floors!

Master bathroom - this was my favorite granite. So glad they had a reminate that worked for our bathroom.

The painting is coming along. You can't tell much from the pictures right now. 

Tile and Grout...Finally!

Finally tile in the kitchen and bathrooms is all done and grouted! I love my kitchen floor so much!! It took me forever to pick it out and it looks amazing. I see a light at the end of the tunnel now. The bathrooms look great too. We are slowly getting rooms painted.

These two finally got to paint. This is Rylan's closet. He wanted his room green and I am not about to paint the entire room green. So I am letting him paint his closet and shelves. We are also going to paint his bed green. 

House Reno Update

Thing are moving along good in the house. Bathrooms are both tiled now just waiting for grout and tile on the kitchen floor. Hopefully that will be done by the end of the week. 

Stair railing turned out great!! Now needs stain.
