Cotton Farmers

Cotton harvest 2013 is underway and Jordon is officially a cotton farmer for a few weeks. We met Holly and Caleb at the field the other day to take some pictures. Jacob was out there working already. Caleb could not wait to ride on the tractor; he was driving Holly crazy to get to the field.

 

Jacob's job is to rake up the cotton around each module. He had the perfect pile created for some pictures.

Caleb told Holly he did not want to take pictures and he was not happy with us. He just wants to ride the tractor with Martin.

We did finally talk Caleb into take a couple of pictures with Jacob and Rylan.

Here are some pics of the process as best as I could do holding Rylan. I guess I need to clean my camera lens because the random squiggle line keeps showing up.

Cotton stripper harvest then dumps into the buggy. Each tractor and buggy then dumps into the module builder. Jordon helps with the module builder and putting tarps on each module.

After the tarp goes on, the stripper and tractors take off to make around haul again.

2013 Bull Sale

We went to Comanche on Tuesday for the 2013 Dudley Bros Bull Sale. We had planned to go earlier but Rylan was puny for a couple of days. He was not 100% on energy still. 

M&MS are magic pills for changing a mood especially in the car.

Sale Day

Jordon got to be in the ring with Pops. Exciting but scary too! It was a last minute thing so of course I did not have my camera just my phone.

I don't know if you can tell from this picture but he is dodging a kick. Lucky for him I was watching this while taking pictures so I did not see it as up close as I would have normally. 

It was a great sale and a fun day. Rylan slept through about half of the sale so I did not get a lot of pictures.

ESPNU was at the game. We think we got Rylan and Reese (the little girl) on camera. We will have to watch ESPNU the show to see (that is what Jordon told me). I don't know what that show is ...

This was a blackout game. W looked all over town and finally found Rylan a black shirt that would fit. Everyone loved him in it! We got tons of people coming up to use to ask where we got his shirt. 

Rylan likes to entertain people in our section before the game. He waved and sometimes puts his guns up. 

Rylan and I did not stay the whole game. This is how I found him when we got home. 

Rylan's 2nd Tech Game

We took Rylan to the Tech football game this weekend. He really enjoyed it this time. We took him to a game last year but he was only 8 months old so he just slept through it. 

He did his guns up and danced to the music. I wish the blog would let me put up videos because I have the best one of him with his guns up! He made his Red Raider mom and dad proud.
