Soccer

Here are some pictures from Rylan's first soccer season. The season was only about six weeks thankfully. Three-year olds don't have much of an attention span. Rylan did not get into it too much but it was fun for the most part. He did enjoy the snacks after each game!

Haydon's first weeks at home

Here is some catch up from the last few weeks. Haydon has been a busy guy meeting some of his aunts, uncles, and cousins. We are settling in and getting more rest at night.

Rylan has been such a good big brother and a great helper since we got home with Haydon. A few days after being home, he walked in the living room to inform us that he would now be calling the baby Haydon and not Jimmy Pockets.  We knew he would come around on the name but it actually happened sooner that we expected.

Monday morning on the way to the hospital. Excited! It was so strange to have everything scheduled this time.

Here he is! Rylan does not like this picture. I don't think he was ready to come out. 

Jordon got to hold him and walk around while I got closed up. Again it was strange because with Rylan they took him out of the room so quickly and Jordon went with him while I went to recovery.

Rylan is still set on his name being Jimmy Pockets and he will correct you if you call him Haydon. He did almost call him Haydon before we left the hospital.

Getting ready to go home from the hospital. All the nurses loved his baseball clothing. 

He looks so tiny in the car seat. The ride home went really good. I thought we would have to stop at least once but he slept the entire way.

 It has been a whirlwind week even though we knew when everything was happening this time. It was strange bring a two days old baby home. 

We had a weight check with our pediatrician today (Friday). He got a good report; has lost a little as expected but we are getting into an eating routine. Rylan went home with Grammy from Fort Worth and they are coming back today. I am ready to have them with me since Jordon is going back to work. 

The destruction continues...

Kitchen is almost complete demolished or as Rylan says "Daddy is tearing up the house."

The dumpster has arrived! So now the true demo can begin.
