We have created a monster!

Rylan has discovered the outdoors and loves to be outside!!! He will get his shoes and try to put them on then beat on the door. Every night after dinner he goes directly to the front door so we can water my flowers and the yard. He is never ready to come in...

Last night I planted some flowers so he got to dig in the dirt.

Summer time fun

I went to a conference last week so Jordon and Rylan were on their own for a few days. I think they played outside a lot with Abby. Rylan got a lawn mover and he loves it.

He also loves the vacuum cleaner. I think mostly because it makes a loud noise.

Uncle Cameron came by to visit.

The toy box is as much fun as the actual toys.

   

Aunt Jill, Caitlyn and Madi stopped by on their way home Friday night. Grammy and Papa were taking them home from their week in McLean. Rylan had a blast playing with them. He loves Madi's curly red hair!

Rylan loves to go outside; that is all he wants to do lately. It is so hot in the afternoon so we go out every night and water my plants. We found him a little water can so he can help but really he just wants to control the water hose.

 

Lacy Reunion

It has been a couple of weeks ago but we went to the Lacy Family Reunion with Jordon's family. The night before we left, Lubbock had a ridiculous wind storm that destroyed trees and everything all around town. Our neighbors tree broke and fell into our yard. Thankfully it just knocked a couple of planks out of our fence.

The handyman and his trusty companion had to cut up the tree branch so he could fix the fence. I guess we got some free firewood. Jordon got an early father's day present because he needed a chainsaw!

No trip out of town can go completely uneventful. Rylan had hives all over his little body. We finally figured out that he is allergic to penicillin. A stop by the doctor's office in Brownwood as we traveled to the family reunion and he was good to go. 

 

 The hives did not slow Rylan down. He had a great time. I did not get many pictures but we went swimming and played a lot! Rylan has become very independent since he can walk on his own.

Rhett just wanted someone to take him to the slide!

We stopped to change Tyler and Nicole's tire because it was losing air. Rylan, Memaw and I stayed in the our car. Rylan had a lot of fun in the front seat and controlling the radio.
